Article Marketing Distribution
There are two schools of thought when it comes to distributing articles online. You can go for hundreds of article directories and produce tons and tons of backlinks, which may mark your site as spam. Alternatively, you can handpick a few significant article directories to submit to.
Duplicate content
The second approach generally works best if you are in a niche with mid to low competition. Higher competition niches may require massive article submissions, but with those you run the risk of duplicate content penalties.
The top article directories to submit to are:
Page rank 4
There are dozens of others as well if you’d like to submit to a few more. Before you submit to any directory, make sure to check it’s page rank by using the Google toolbar in your Internet browser. Don’t submit your articles to anything less than a PR4.
Two per week
Submit at least two articles per week to keep traffic coming into your site. Later when your affiliate blog starts making more money, you can outsource article submission just like you can with ghostwriting, which makes the process even simpler.
Article marketing is not the only way that you can draw in traffic to your affiliate blog. In the next section, we’ll go over a unique idea called “feeder sites” which can create a huge influx of traffic and bring you even more potential customers.
